A little more work. This is NOT an attractive space ship! :)

Good ol' Ptolemy. You are reusing your parts from the others? Will you be making a container?

Primary hull is the good old Saladin saucer with modifications (there are two aft phasers?). Nacelles are the trusty PB-47s. It's looking like I'll be hanging on to those nacelle pylons (I got the curve of the leading and trailing edge right this time, thank you) for the LAST FRANZ JOSEPH SHIP.

I'm starting to take it personally that FJ changed the windows on every dorsal. It's the hardest thing to put windows on.

Yes, I'll be building containers. But will I be building a Starliner? Eh, probably.

You know, every one of these ships has taken a fair amount of modeling of new components. Pretty much the only thing that was one and done was the nacelles. The saucer gets re-used on the Destroyer / Scout / Tug / Heavy Cruiser. The main sensor on the destroyer / scout / tug. The dorsal is kinda the same, but not enough. If I d

So not quite as kit-bashy as at first glance.

Pretty good.

Will you be incorporating the shuttle hangers from the Saladin class blueprints?

Had a thought. Maybe by dropping off crew, particularly women, explains a couple of things... the first being why only 1/3 of the crew being female. They are the ones dropped off mostly, with a plan b, plus a few men. Instant colony...

So that is two reasons right there.

True it would be a small colony, plus maybe 10,000 embryos... not going to be small for long.

And a couple of years later, a Ptolemy class starship shows up with a 1,000 more colonists.
