Some more shots of the Surya. This time using a lit model of the mesh I developed for aridas a few months back.

Here is the U.S.S. Brilliant rendezvousing with the Fesarius to retrieve Lt. David Bailey from his exchange on that vessel.

A second shot, showing off less of the models but more of an homage to the original shot from The Corbomite Maneuver.

Enjoy!

Cool. Now I know why you were talking about the lighting. Those are really nice.

Oh my Bill... that's fantastic. I'd like to frame that. One of my favorite depictions of a Surya I have seen, no doubt. You really have the lighting of that Fesarius down.

Well, here is my data page for the Surya. I was hoping to get it done before aridas did his Reliant. But I was close!

Just to get them all in a single post, here is the Saladin and the Federation.

Not sure what's next. The plates in the air are finishing the Constellation and the Jefferies shuttle and doing the TM pages for the Ptolemy, the Hermes, and of course the Constitution!

Enjoy!

Bill, you colorised the FJ data sheets! :D

And they look great.

Will you be doing ships like the Coronado also? (I know, I know, be thankful for what we have. Don't ask for more...)

Bill, sorry I haven't posted earlier, but I have to say these really look wonderful. It's awesome seeing these ships I've known and loved for so many years being brought to life like this.

I like the way you handled the FJ sheets also. Modern but in a traditional way.

Thanks for posting them all again.

Heh. That would be cool. Sadly, not on my list for the immediate future. What I would LOVE to do would be McMaster's Size Comparison Chart. (Didn't Henry Gibbens start a Coronado?)

Thanks! I'm two (two, right?) ships short of the whole FJ fleet! The Surya was a delightful bonus. :)

I do love those FJ pages done with 3D ships. I can imagine them in the Matt Jefferies, "red and yellow on black" color scheme, with line drawings that at a touch turn into these 3D ships that can then be turned around. The "real" technical manual, displayed on the TOS padd.

Pretty awsome rendering. I would like to make 3D drawings as well.

That already remembers me the background bridge schematics in ST:TWoK, which makes me think FJ's ships are canon.
