Wow. That is cool.

Now I want to make one showing the 1000 ship Star Fleet. 8-)

how about just another version (digital) of the Federation Starship recognition Chart?
including all the designs added to FRS since the original chart came out.
you can make it less time specific--that means including Kearsage and Everest and even newer things like
Odyssey and Camcaira :)

I want to do that. Simplified, Masao SFM/ FJTM style side views. But I want to use the basis we were working on when I shut this place down- the modular fleet stuff and the evolution ideas I was playing with with Mark. There are also new things that really fit thise ideas, like Shaw's new Columbia class destroyer.

So that means essentially designs like Kearsage and Everest have to be rethought or dumped in favor of the new lineage of progressively larger, flatter (less spherical) designs.

I'm curious, why do you like them so much?

@Aridas,
to me they represent logical ,reasonable and creative designs for pre-Constitution Starship classes.
very nice designs in the how did we get here from there? category.
(oh...and don't forget Tritium...I did :( )

@Tallguy
off the top of my head I don't recall the URL to Aridas' photobucket page.
if you ask nicely he may provide the URL to those ships and/or his whole Star Trek album.
(lots of interesting Star Trek stuff in there to look at :cool: )

I really like the idea of the impulse at the base of the saucer dorsal. I'd like to see a refit ship with that
