Davros of Borg (as he's known here) posted these over at Bernard's site, and I was curious what those posting here might think of them? I think they're a pretty nice take on the design. I like the singularity if that's what it's supposed to be, within the ring. And the protective shield between it and the crew modules, suggesting the power and intensity of the thing.

This is quite a large ship also, judging from the viewports. Also very much like the suggestion of multiple planes of gravity.

I like the design. It has a fluidity I don’t usually see associated with this ship. (But I probably like the lines of the one done for Ships of the Line - and appearing in Into Darkness - better.)

I don’t like the glowing orb thing.

Just curious, is it the look of it you don’t like, or issues with the science it portrays? Or both?

Thought I'd revive this one since I incorporated something a bit similar in my Andorian cruiser design.

The look. It's the kind of look you don't see anywhere until CG. Certainly not in real life. Even TNG didn't glow like that.
