Good God, a church hymnal doesn't have that many songs.

That reminds me, does William Shatner have a Christmas album?

Ordered my copy.

Actually, just the other day I got a neat little gig that pays $300. Made it really easy to order this...

What kind of gig? Are you a musician?

Reviewing a book for Air & Space magazine. Read the book (it's an astronaut biography), write a 300-word review, get $300. Easy. Heck, what was even easier was when they asked me to review the DVD of the movie Thirteen Days about the Cuban Missile Crisis. I had already seen the movie. Just had to write the review and collect my check!

You guys might find this forum interesting. It's frequented by collectors and audiophiles who talk about stuff like this alot. Not too serious a bunch though. You could probably get a good discussion going there.

http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/forums/music-corner.2

Steve Hoffman is a highly respected mastering engineer who has remastered tons of classic recordings. The forum is 'general discussion' though, and topics actually related to his work are rare.

Also surprising...considering people attracted to higher fidelity music are a bit more rare these days...is how fast the forum moves. It's hard to keep up with all the new postings unless you hang out all day.

Some people are starting to get their shipping notices today. I haven't gotten mine. Time to click refresh on the email. Again. *click*... *click*... *click*...

Forgot about that. I got a notice that they had received my order, but not that they had actually shipped it yet.
